Amazing Fantasy #15 CGC 8.0 In Comiclink Spring Featured Auction

This 1962 issue brings us the first appearance of your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man! Its popularity it is rivaled by no other book in our hobby yet unfortunately for high-grade collectors, once you get up past the grade of CGC 7.5 the market availability of Amazing Fantasy #15 gets very, very thin. It has in fact been 4 full years since a CGC 8.0 has hit the auction block! With only 15 CGC certified 8.0s in the entire world and everybody wanting one, this is understandable. So, you can imagine how exciting it was when this example came in "raw" (unslabbed) from a private collection and we had the opportunity to send it in to CGC for certification. The item will make its "1st appearance" within our upcoming Spring Featured Auction, which will commence on May 17th.
