Nova Scotia Pedigree

Choose Pedigree: Ordered By

In 1994 2000 cimocs were to be auctioned off from a woman's estate in Nova Scotia, Canada.  Dealer Jame Payette purchased the lot which contained about 70 comics from the late 1930s to the early 1940s including high garde copes of Batman #1, Superman #1-3, plus Detective Comics #31, 33, 35 and 38.  The bulk of the collection had comics ranging from the early 50s to the late 60s and are not known for being as high quality as the earlier issues.  The collection is compared the circumstances similar to the Big Apple collection where the varied periods of comics and varying grades may have been different collectors in the same household.
