Big Apple Pedigree

5000+ comic book collection amassed by James Hilton spanning 1939 through the Silver Age, the Big Apple pedigree contains enough Golden Age keys in high grade to put it in the top ten for 1940s pedigree, but storage issue of the later comic books put the Silver Age issues at the bottom of the list.  After Hilton died in 1968 the collection sat until discovered by his nephew in 1993.  For the next six years many copies were sold through Phil Weiss/Christies Comic Auctions  and since then by Phil Weiss.  Despite the range and scope of the collection the key books were all from 1946, there were a handful of books from every other year of the 1940s but there are no comic books from 1949 to be found!
