Story Title: The Middle of the Night - comic story

Synopsis:A watch repairman gets a watch from a mysterious stranger and when he fixes it, he finds that he can go backwards and forwards in time by moving the hands. He goes back to the year 1575 in order to steal the French king's jewels, but when he is apprehended by the king's guards, he finds that his watch has disappeared as they were not in existence at the time.

Synopsis:Two detectives with different attitudes toward voodoo track down a blackmailer. To prove he is a fraud the younger detective gives the shaman a lock of hair for one of the dolls. When they find someone to testify against him they attempt to arrest him. The shaman threatens the detective by holding the doll out the window. The younger detective scoffs but he drops the doll and falls out the window. The younger detective is puzzled but his partner explains he switched the hair he handed the priest with some of his own hair he got off the bed - just to be on the safe side.
