In some panels more than 40 words have been eliminated. The first 3 pages have 5 tiers, which are each a full daily strip. The remaining pages have 4 tiers. This larger size makes it necessary to move one panel to another tier, to drop a panel entirely, or to slice off part of a long panel.; in Scorchy Smith and the Art of Noel Sickles (IDW, 2008) p. 267 to 298 (original unaltered strips)
