Synopsis:A couple buys an old grandfather clock, but begins to fear it. The clock seems to have a human heartbeat and drives the woman insane. When the man tries to chop it up with an axe, he hits himself and bleeds to death. On the scene arrives a mysterious stranger who knows the grandfather clocks secret: In the clock case the heart and brain of his evil grandfather live on. The stranger disassembles the clock in a professional way.
