One of the oldest pedigrees, this comic book collection was bought from the original owner  in 1974 by dealer Joe Sarno.  Most of the books were dispersed into the collecting world with no special designation to note where they were from.  The comic books from this collection contained nearly all the Timely keys and many of the lower numbers of each title.  Over 100 Timelys were purchased by George Olshevsky, these can be identified by the pen code written on the margin of an interior page of the comic before they were sold in 1988.  The Chicago comics are often compared to other high ranking pedigreesas several are the highest CGC graded and often have the natural “feel” of the Edgar Church/Mile High books.
