Choose Pedigree: Ordered By

Recognized as the most important collection of comic books in both scope and impact on the hobby.  The total number of comics accumulated by commercial artist Edgar Church (b. Nov 28, 1888 – d. 1978) being a staggering  18,000-22,000 issues spanning  1930s- early/mid 1950s.  The collection is well known for containing the highest  quality copies of some of the major Golden Age comic books, including Action Comics #1.   Church stored the comics in stacks which helped preserve the page quality of the comic books, and they is also known for the distinctive smell of the interior pages.  Purchased and brought to market by Mile High Comics Chuck Rozanski, this collection remains the benchmark to which all other pedigrees are compared.
