Cosmic Aeroplane Pedigree

This collection was discovered in 1972 in Salt Lake City, Utah, making it the second earliest recognized pedigree.  Many comics from this find were already sold when David Faggiola, owner of the Cosmic Aeroplane Bookstore bought the remaining comics and then released them with no designation to the market.  That leaves many unrecognized copies that now surface on occasion as they are identifiable by the distinct markings of the original owner who was an art teacher that made check marks and notations written in pencil throughout the books.  Though lower in average grade than some of the other pedigrees, the collection, which is believed to be somewhere between 2000-3000 comic books and amassed during the 1940s & 1950s contains many keys such as Adventure #40, Flash #1, and the reported only Silver Age comic in the collection, Showcase #4.
