Hawkeye Pedigree

This collection of 1500+ comic books surfaced in Mason City, Iowa in 1984 having been purchased from the original owner and then sold to dealer Leroy Harper.  The comics were comparable in grades and page quality to the Edgar Church/Mile High pedigree and contained the best  condition copies of such key issues as Captain Marvel #1, All-Star Comics #3, Superboy #1, More Fun #101 and others.  The collection dated from 1939 to 1950 and while there are no distinguishing marks to identify the comics a good prtion of them have a mothball smell from the storage when in the possession of the collector who bought a good portion of the collection from Harper.
